Middlemore Hospital – Ko Awatea Centre

The Ko Awatea Centre opened in mid-2011 as a centre of learning and innovation, to bring together healthcare professionals, as well as education and international organisations to improve efficiency and achieve more effective healthcare.

Flip tables  and the Etude Sled base chair were used extensively throughout the facility's numerous seminar and lecture rooms. Soft seating in the form of couches, ottomans and bean bags were used for breakout spaces to encourage users to relax and spend time in the new centre.

Goodman Fielder

BFG was awarded the contract to manufacture, supply and install custom joinery throughout the nine levels of the refurbished premises of Goodman Fielder. This included numerous kinds and designs of cabinetry, kitchens and storage.

This project was completed within extremely tight timeframes during the refurbishment stages of the building. BFG delivered on time and to budget, a true testament to our manufacturing capabilities and expertise.

Massey University Library 

The student library hub was the beginning of a new direction for Massey University – the space allows students to study as individuals or in groups, in an open and vibrant environment.

BFG worked extensively Opus and the client to come up with a variety of furniture solutions across the five-level building that meet all the university's requirements.

Loreal

To provide adequate storage for samples and promotional materials, L'Oréal required a unique fit-out solution. BFG worked extensively with Gaze Commercial to incorporate storage and integrated wiring into the Link system to meet the client's requirements.

L'Oréal staff now access power and data via built-in flip-up lids in the desk top linked to the trunking below which forms part of the central storage spine.

Wintec Avalon

Located in one of the city’s most historic buildings and recently restored to the highest standard, Wintec Avalon is sure to impress.

Following the success of the Wintec student hub project, BFG were the preferred supplier of tables, desks, storage and seating for this facility, where students turn their learning into practical reality.

This project demonstrates our ability to custom design and manufacture to specific design and project requirements.

ABB

The Team range was the winner for ABB, who wanted a system that was functional, stylish and cost effective.  A storage component was also important, as ABB were downsizing from workstations to 1800-long desks.  Team was chosen for its good looks and effective interface with the Jet Docking Tower.

AA Insurance

The Linea system has allowed AA Insurance to streamline their furniture requirements across all departments. Set up as a workstation, snowflake or an individual desk, Linea is also fully height adjustable, making it possible for staff to hot desk when necessary and personalise desk heights to suit the individual needs of all staff.

Green Star

BFG were proud suppliers of commercial furniture into what was the first 4-Star Green Star-rated building refurbishment.

To meet the project criteria and gain the points required to gain this rating, we set out to achieve Environmental Choice accreditation across our supplied V2 range of desks, screens and ergonomic chairs. This was achieved during the fit-out phase.

IRD

The IRD Cashel Street Fit-out was one of the largest fit-outs Bourneville have supplied outside of the North Island region consisting of 800 Linea workstations, screens and storage units.  Bourneville project/installation team was on site through the duration of the project.

Business School - University of Auckland

A world-class facility that is stunning in appearance both in and out.

This project took 18 months from prototyping to practical completion. 80% of the Business School was furnished by BFG, allowing us to display our diversity in the development of prototypes, manufacture, supply and installation across all furniture areas, while working within stringent time frames.

Wintec

The Wintec project was a realisation of an 18-month collaboration between BFG, Wintec and Chow Hill Architects in Hamilton.

Specialist custom student study spaces were prototyped and trialled to gain student and staff feedback. Large open-plan study tables were used in conjunction with bench desking to offer students variety in their study options. Combining standard office requirements with custom learning solutions made this project a success for all involved.

Department of Corrections

At sites across New Zealand, from Kaikohe to South Otago, BFG has manufactured, delivered and installed furniture for the Department of Corrections.

BFG’s unique manufacturing ability has enabled us to offer a high level of customisation, from standard office spaces through to inmate visitor seating.

Clifton's

Cliftons internationally branded training and conference facilities operate around the world. BFG supplied furniture solutions to six Cliftons locations in Australia and Hong Kong.

Training desks, tables and operator chairs were supplied for conference and training areas, and recreational areas were fitted with Cube and La Vague loungers, and café tables and chairs. All centres were supplied to deadline in accordance with our logistics strategy.

Since our successful tender for joinery for PSIS Manukau, BFG has furnished a number of PSIS branches nationwide, working closely with Impact Project Management and PSIS to provide tellers counters, screening, office workstations and seating.
