The largest attempt within New Zealand to house students free study time with 1200 available seats for study. The Student Amenity Project has been talked about internationally since opening in February 2003. The building has received 2 excellence awards at the NZ Property Council Awards. This is a prestigious award which very few buildings receive & shows the level of design the Kate Edger Commons building is at.
